Introduction to WebEOC for Local Officials is 2 hour training course focused on familiarizing Public Safety personnel to WebEOC for operational readiness. WebEOC is the statewide incident management tool that provides a central hub for situational awareness and a common operating picture. The training includes an overview of boards, menus, tools and mapping functions. In class exercises will allow students to become familiar and more comfortable with the platform.
The focus of the class will be the daily and emergency use of WebEOC. Users will learn to use WebEOC to increase their situational awareness and contribute to the statewide common operating picture.
The main objective of this training is to ensure that Public Safety personnel understand the use of WebEOC as a tool along with their specific role and responsibilities within the EOC process.

Students MUST register for a WebEOC account prior to coming to class. Students arriving to the class without a WebEOC account may not be able to participate. It is highly recommended that students practice logging-in to WebEOC prior to class to ensure your account is active and your log-in information is current.
